It has been a great help to learners with difficulties in seeing without spectacles. Eyes are one of the most important parts of the body, taking care of your sight will have its benefits in the near future.
The provincial committee is giving out glasses to elementary students with blurry eyesight, with the help of Mylene Cayabyab, she is a Board member in the province of Pampanga. This started early this year, students with trouble seeing are attending school without eyeglasses, it is one of the main problems they are facing right now.
Rest assured the spectacles are good quality, they are using high end lenses. A trusted private company is producing the said eyeglasses.
Teachers also received free eye check up and spectacles, the committee is planning to distribute glasses in the coastal areas and the 2nd district of Pampanga. It is said that by the end of School Year 2022-2023, they are set to cover all elementary schools here in the province of Pampanga. It may take a long time before you will receive the eyeglasses, since the process of these personal belongings are very gruesome.
If the budget continues, high school students could also get free eyeglasses, this will help eradicate the blurry vision of the students. They are still studying how to maintain the project every year, the grade of your eyes increases every year, a person needs to get an eye check up twice a year. The new generation is now modernized, people are using gadgets regularly, even babies are using those, by just watching kids’ entertainment, that could affect their eye vision.
To ensure good eyesight, a regular check up is needed yearly. By doing this nationwide, it will help eradicate the poor eyesight of high school and elementary students. The Department of Health (DOH) also needs to focus on the eye problem the students are facing as of the moment.
