Music playing as the performers starts to dance, teachers’ are clapping, students’ are shouting, the praising is through the roof. Selected pupils’ of Malino National High School (MNHS) prepared a Kapampangan cultural dance to showcase Pampanga’s aesthetic wonders.
“Mekeni tuki ka, malaus ka Pampanga, mekeni tuki ka, mamasyal ‘ta Pampanga” this social and educational song is being used around the world to display the destinations in the province of Pampanga. The students were instructed to execute a performance in the opening program of “Cluster IV Secondary School Press Conference.” By including culture in the remarks, students from different schools will absorb knowledge that’s included in the song, with that, they can share their knowledge about the culture with other individuals.
MAPEH Teachers’ from Cluster IV are making the students’ participate in a culminating activity, that relates to the different culture in our stunning country, the Philippines. These dances are tinikling, cariñosa, pandanggo, subli, and others. Preserving cultures is one of the heroic things a person could do, this will help the future generations of the Philippines to know about the great history of their beautiful country.
