Executive Assistant Ian O. Flora tackles the Philippine government's plan to produce free eyeglasses for students with blurred vision in a mini-press conference held at DMHS on May 13, 2023.
This program aims to make sure that students have access to quality eye care and that vision issues do not have an impact on their academic performance.
"We have discovered that many of our students who attend elementary classes can't avail medical services for their eyes," said Flora while he was presenting the government's project.
Students who participate in this program and pass a vision screening test will be able to get a free eyeglasses in the coming months.
This initiative was created by the government to continue to support Filipino youth who are struggling in their lives.
